A plain-language guide to every morph in our program — what it changes, how it inherits, and what to expect when you breed it.
Anerythristic Type 1 removes red pigment, producing a striking silver, gray and charcoal grayscale animal.
Look: Silver, gray and black tones with no warm color.
A dark, black-eyed anerythristic combination prized for its deep, cool, high-contrast tones.
Look: Cool charcoal tones with solid black eyes.
A selectively bred line producing heavy melanin and rich, saturated red-brown coloration that intensifies with age.
Look: Deep, saturated red-brown that darkens over time.
Hypomelanistic — reduces black pigment for a brighter, higher-contrast animal. A super form exists.
Look: Cleaner, brighter saddles with reduced speckling.
Increasing Melanin Gene — a co-dominant trait that progressively darkens the animal with age. The super form is dramatically dark.
Look: Progressively darkening, ghost-like reduced pattern.
A designer line prized for warm tones and pattern; a strong building block in combo projects.
Look: Warm, richly patterned line coloration.
A T-negative albino strain that is ALLELIC to Kahl Albino (they share the same locus). An animal het for JPC and het for Kahl is an NFI. Unrelated to the VPI albino line.
Look: Bright amelanistic oranges and creams.
A co-dominant aberrant pattern trait producing broken, chaotic saddles — highly variable and endlessly combinable.
Look: Irregular, broken saddles with unpredictable pattern.
The Kahl strain of T-negative amelanism developed by Pete Kahl. Removes all black pigment for clean oranges, yellows and white. Allelic to JPC Albino — a het Kahl / het JPC animal is an NFI.
Look: High-contrast orange and white with ruby eyes.
A selectively bred line valued for its clean, distinctive coloration and contrast.
Look: Clean, bright, line-specific look.
A recessive pattern mutation that scrambles the saddles into an intricate, maze-like dorsal pattern.
Look: Convoluted, maze-like connected saddles.
A recessive trait adding spotting and speckling to the body and head; a modern favorite in designer combos.
Look: Peppered speckles and spotted head markings.
A polygenic, selectively bred Kahl albino line producing intense pink-red 'lipstick' coloration.
Look: Vivid pink-red saturation on a Kahl albino base.
NFI is a compound het — het JPC Albino + het Kahl Albino. Because JPC and Kahl are allelic (same gene locus), an animal carrying one copy of each is an NFI. Breeding NFI x NFI can produce Kahl, JPC and Kahl x JPC allelic combos.
Look: Visually a normal-looking boa carrying both albino alleles.
The VPI strain of T+ albino, incompatible with the Kahl and JPC albino lines.
Look: Warm oranges and creams with a distinct VPI look.
