A selectively bred line producing heavy melanin and rich, saturated red-brown coloration that intensifies with age.

The Kahl strain of T-negative amelanism developed by Pete Kahl. Removes all black pigment for clean oranges, yellows and white. Allelic to JPC Albino — a het Kahl / het JPC animal is an NFI.

A recessive pattern mutation that scrambles the saddles into an intricate, maze-like dorsal pattern.
